Type 2 Litz wire is designed to be round in geometry and consists of bundles of Type 1 Litz wire twisted together with optional outer insulation of textile yarn, tape, or extruded compounds.
Type 2 Litz wire may also be shaped/formed into a rectangular or keystone geometry for best possible use of winding space and packing density which allows for the winding of perfect segments.
